A minimum of 5x10m concreted flat area required at site for assembly. Here within the reach of the cranes boom the assembly is started. The wall form segment is laid upon wooden struts as shown.
As widths of the tunnel form require adjusteable diagonal supports are attached to the wall panel with M14x80 bolts.
A slab panel is then attached to the wall panel using M14x30 bolts.
The rotating heads of the adjusteable diagonal supports are attached to their anchorage points on the slab using M14x80 bolts.
Here the wheeled prop is attached to the center of the tunnel form slab form using M14x80 bolts.
The wheeled prop support forks are attached to the wall panels using M14x80 bolts and to the wheeled prop using M14x30 bolts.
As shown and according to the project specs, extra tunnel form pieces can be attached using U connectors to increase the length of each tunnel form part.
Seperate tunnel form parts are attached and tightened using M14x80 bolts to produce a *single* tunnel form part.
To this tunnel form room and according to the assembly plan a back panel is duly attached using U connectors.
Using M14x80 bolts and centering U connectors the back panel is aligned and tightened in place.
According to assembly diagrams and taking measurements from the x and y axis a hole in the slab panel is drilled and below this the balance beam is attached and stabilized without welding using U shaped hangers.
At this stage we have a half tunnel or half of a room completed. This half tunnel can be lifted upright using the assembly lifting apparatus.
As the assembly plan requires a door or window block out can then be attched to the upright half tunnel.
Door and window blockouts are accurately aligned taking into account the assembly plans given x and y coordinates.
As the assembly plan requires a wall form concrete retaining element is attached to the wall element of the tunnel form
As the assembly plan requires a slab form slab concrete retaining element is attached to the slab element of the tunnel form.
Thus the now finished half tunnel forms can be positioned on the prepared axis runners on the construction foundations.
External walkways and panel support legs are attached as detailed in the assembly plans.
As the completed tunnel form parts are positioned attention is given to the alignement and fastening of door block outs and window blockouts.
Layout of the tunnel form is now completed. In general to maximise speed and efficiency and to increase the economy generally tunnel formwork for half of the buildings planned layout is provided.
According to the tunnel form project generally prior to the formwork being placed the rebar wire mesh has been positioned and controlled. After the complete formwork is placed the slab rebar and wire mesh positioning is started.
After the wire mesh has been placed the axis runners are placed carefully on the slab axis cuffs.
The final stage before concreting is positioning of the axis corner bracket on top of the axis footings and fastened with cuffs.
After this concrete staging starts. If as shown the tunnel form is a half floor plan then the concrete is poured accordingly and completed.
As the assembly plan requires scaffolding front consoles are placed next to each other and connected with long diagonal pipes at the front and short ones at the back.
As shown above the now connected and tightened front consoles have wooden struts attached.
As the assembly plan requires a slab form slab *alın kalıbı* is attached to the slab element of the tunnel form
Netting is then attached to the outside of the walkway.
After completing the first concrete pour on the tunnel form and in order to facilitate movement of the formwork the facade scaffolding designed specifically for the project is attached using the upper tie rod holes.
This assembly is completed at this stage. The apparatus is attached to the upper tie rod holes as shown.

As shown the woodwork for walking platform and bannistersare attached (actually attached at floor level but for the purpose of illustration shown here)
As explained in stages 25-28 formwork removal scaffolding is placed according to the assembly plan.
As explained in stages 29-32 formwork facade scaffolding is placed according to the assembly plan.
According to the assembly plans the landing platforms are then positioned to the specified areas under controlled supervision.
Tunnel formwork from the other half of the plan layout or from below is then removed and repositioned for the next and each new daily concrete pour. The process continues systematically until the building is completed.
