As shown and according to the project assembly diagrams, the the jacks and jack stands are connected using M20x190 bolts.
After completion theprepared jack and jack stands are placed onto the construction area foundation slab.
The placement is performed carefully taken into consideration the requirements of the assembly diagrams.
Horizontal connector straps both internal and external are then used to connect the jacks.
The ınternal and external consoles for the placement of platforms used for the slip form operation are then connected as shown.
The internal and external panels used for the concrete forming are then attached to the connection straps using M14x30 bolts.
The slip forms most importantant components are the hydraulic jack screws and climbing bars and when connected to the main hydraulic unit they ensure that the formworkcan be lifted continuously achieving around 2.5 meters of concrete pour height each day.
The jackscrews are connected between the jacks to the connection points. Generally the connection points of the hydraulic hoses are connected with the intention of the hydraulics to be operated at the inner formwork.
Cavity pipes are positioned under the jackscrews in order to accurately guide the climbing bars and to of course provide cavaties for the removal of the climbing bars.
The large platform elements such as steel mesh floor elements and safety boards are then attached.
For safety purposes the handrails are then connected through the bannister uprights and all assembly points are controlled rigorously prior to commencing the slip forming.
Afetr all these assembly steps have been completed the slip formwork is now ready for operation.
After the formwork has been operated to around the first level the lower scaffolding console is then attached.
Steel mesh walking platforms are then positioned against the lower console elements
Handrails and kicker boards are then connected as shown in the diagram.
To control the structural rising of the slipform and the accurate operational workings optical measuring equipment is used. The slipform can build silos and core elements at a rate upto 4 metres per day depending upon weather conditions and project specifications.
