This is a formwork system comprised
of the modular components which facilitate the
production of the highly reinforced concrete
curtain walls without using a crane. To provide
the ease of use for the formwork, each piece
has a weight and size easy to be carried by
one person. It is only difference from NERU
STEEL CURTAIN WALL FORMWORKS WITH MANUAL SLIDING
is the use of lighter plywood on the surfaces
facing the concrete, instead of steel surfaces.
HOW IT IS APPLIED
The system of NERU PLYWOOD-COMPATIBLE
CURTAIN WALL FORMWORKS WITH MANUAL SLIDING
comprises the standardized panels with various
sizes, but even the largest panel piece may
be easily carried by a person owing to its convenient
size and weight. The system is made of such
easy to carry modular panels, the parts we call
soldier, which perform the sliding action of
the formwork, the bands which provide the reinforcement
and strength, stems and connection apparatus.
It is easy to use and fast to install. Because
the formworks have precise dimensions, the production
is faultless and of high quality. For the installation
of the formwork, the soldier with and without
scaffold is placed in between the modular panels.
Thanks to the soldiers with scaffold, a safe
working environment is provided without the
need for a working console. Even when the formwork
reaches a certain height as a result of sliding,
it is still possible to conveniently work on
it, owing to these scaffolds. No holes are opened
on the panels, unless it is necessary. The tensioning
elements may be mounted through the holes on
the soldiers.
ADVANTAGES OF THE SYSTEM
The system is light and it may be easily installed
by the manpower. As it is produced using qualified
steels, it does not easily deform, thus it may
be used hundreds of times. It is economical,
as multiple uses of a certain amount of formwork
may be practiced to perform very important works.
At all the times, this formwork is the assistant
of the workers in every work site. From the
small curtain walls to the very large and high
curtain walls, it is easily used in many fields.
It is much superior to wooden formwork, with
regards to safety, economy and speed. In this
system, it is possible to reuse the formwork
by reversing or replacing the plywood formworks
that might have become worn out in time.
