In this system, the curtain wall
formworks are formed by the panels with the
size which may be carried by the crane, under
the conditions of the work site. Panel surfaces
are plywood (resistant to concrete).
There is a large console which
carries NERU PLYWOOD-COMPATIBLE CURTAIN WALL
FORMWORKS WITH THE SLIDING BY THE CRANE
and uses the previously cast concrete as the
reference. Panels are connected to these consoles
from their lower parts. By a support system
connected to the end section of the console
at a point near the upper part of the panel,
both the withdrawal of the formwork and its
plumb line adjustment are made possible. There
is also another console called working console
at the upper part of the formwork, which is
used in concreting and connecting the iron fittings.
METHOD OF APPLICATION:
After the first casting in the system, the lifting
of the formwork is performed by using the console
and suspension elements. After every casting,
the materials left on the previous concrete
are taken with the help of the scaffold that
enables reaching the previously cast concrete
(Tirfir scaffold). These elements are installed
on the new concrete to enable lifting the formwork
to the upper floor. After every casting in the
formworks, the panels are drawn back with the
help of supports, the iron equipment is laid,
formwork is cleaned, it is lubricated and prepared
for the next casting.
ADVANTAGES OF THE SYSTEM:
The advantage of this system is the ability
to obtain concrete with smooth surface having
less patches, due to the fact that the panels
are large. As the formwork is lifted with the
crane, manual labor is at a minimum level. There
is the possibility of horizontal and vertical
adjustment in the formwork.
FIELDS OF USE:
Such curtain wall formworks are generally used
in the construction of the multi-storey buildings,
high towers, silos, high relying curtain walls,
dams and other similar structures.
