A flat working area the length of the column formwork to be assembled plus a few meters more is prepared next to the site.
Steel corner whalers are positioned and the H20 beams are attached and secured using fasting hooks.
After the H20 beams have been fixed at suitable intevals, plywood is then attached to to H20 beams with wood screws. Where the plywoods overlap at the corner a special join is used.
The other half of the colum formwork is erected in the same way.
Space reservations or anchorage plates are to be present on each half of the formwork prepared.
Each formwork part is carried to site of construcion.
Each column half is lifted vertically by a crane and connected by corner tierod mechanisms. After this supports and walkways consoles are attached for concrete pouring and vibtation.
This picture shows a special case. As the column is very long and the cross section diameter is very thin the rebar wire mesh is placed inside the column formwork and then it is lifted into position by the crane.
